Ohio State now has the number 2 ranked class in the country for 2024 and the top class in the Big Ten. HOW QUICKLY CAN EDDRICK HOUSTON CONTRIBUTE AT OHIO STATE?
Five of the six listed DLs on the Ohio State two-deep are sophomores, so cracking the lineup in 2024 will be difficult. However, Houston does have position flexibility due to his size and athleticism and could potentially move to ILB. Three of the six linebackers listed on the two-deep are seniors. That may be his fastest way to see the field in 2024.
SCOUTING EDDRICK HOUSTON
Eddrick Houston has great speed and gets off the ball very fast. He is very athletic for someone his size, which also gives him the opportunity to play ILB. While his speed gives offensive linemen fits, he is good with his hands and understands his leverage which helps get past some of the better linemen from Georgia. Landed on the Max Preps Junior All-American second team after getting 64 tackles and 10 sacks in 2022.
