Announcing The First-Ever NIL Fundraiser- CFD Madden Tournament

Are You The Madden Dawg?

With the start of the 2023 college football season just around the corner, the powers that be at College Football Dawgs want to take this time to announce the first-ever Madden tournament. With an eye on entering the NIL game with athletes, this tournament will be used as a fundraiser to take those steps.

The long-term goal is to raise money so that College Football Dawgs NIL Collective can then use the funds to help some lesser-known recruits or up-and-coming college players to earn some NIL money by repping the CFD brand, which coincides with the upcoming merchandise that will be available on the website. This will be the first of FOUR monthly tournaments going forward.

WHAT IS IT

This will be a double elimination tournament that will begin using the All-Pro level and increase in difficulty with the championship round being played in the All-Madden difficulty setting.

You may use any of the 32 NFL teams and all teams will be created equal. By playing 4-minute quarters with a 40-second play clock, we hope to move things along very quickly. Games will be played in a competitive style and ONLY on Next-Gen consoles (Xbox Series X/S & PS5)

With a loss in the first round, you will drop to the losers bracket, where the first round will also be played in the All-Pro level and begin increased difficulty at each new stage. The tournament will be drawn up using a random draw method.

What Is The Cost And Prize Package?

The entry fee will be $15 in advance of $20 on the day of the tournament. To start funding NIL packages, 50% of all proceeds will go towards the CFD NIL Collective. The prize package that follows will be determined by the number of entries.

The winner will receive a voucher for the 2024 NCAA Football game which is reportedly coming out August 2024. They will also win 50% of the remaining fund. Second place will receive 25%, Third place 15%, and 4th place will walk away with 10%.

The specific dollar amount is determined by the number of entries. The winner will also receive a direct invitation to our CFD National Championship Playoff to be settled in January, one week before the college football playoff national championship game, with the winner winning a (TBD) prize and the first-ever College Football Dawgs Madden National Championship Trophy!

What Do You Need To Do?

Once the registration process is announced, you may make your payment for the entry fee via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay Pal, Venmo, Cash App, or debit/credit card.

We will also need you to submit your email for purposes of obtaining a copy of the in-depth rules package as well as your entry code to use for entering the tournament site on the day of the competition.
