Head coach Bill O'Brien and quarterback Thomas Castellanos look to lead the Boston College Eagles (4-3, 1-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) to a Friday Night victory over quarterback Tyler Shough and the Louisville Cardinals (4-3, 2-2) on Oct. 25. The Eagles fell to the Virginia Tech Hokies (4-3, 2-1) 42-21 on Oct. 17. The Cardinals lost to the No. 6 Miami Hurricanes (7-0, 3-0) 52-45 on Oct. 19. The Eagles and Cardinals will meet on at 7:30 p.m. EST at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hills, Mass.

What's at Stake?

The Eagles look to improve their all-time record against the Cardinals to 8-9 in Friday's matchup.

The Cardinals look to win at Alumni Stadium for the first time in four trips, as they've lost the last three times playing there.

Key Players: Boston College Eagles

WR Lewis Bond, QB Thomas Castellanos

Bond actually did not factor in much in their recent matchup with the Hokies as he had only 4 catches for 18 yards. He does, however, lead the Eagles in receiving yards with 376 on the year. Castellanos had a decent game against the Hokies as he completed 17-of-26 passes for 205 yards and 2 touchdowns. On the year, he has 14 touchdowns and 4 interceptions which is a decent stat line.

DE Donovan Ezeiruaku, DB KP Price

Ezeiruaku is a beast for the Eagles defense. He ranks third in the entire nation and second in the ACC with 9 sacks on the season. Price is also a force to be reckoned with for the Eagles defense. Although he does not have any sacks, he had 36 total tackles as he is constantly an anchor.

Key Players: Louisville Cardinals

WR Ja'Corey Brooks, RB Isaac Brown

Brooks had himself a really nice game against the Hurricanes. He hauled in 6 passes for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns despite the loss. He was a favorite target for Shough. Although not as effective as he is used to being, Brown put up a decent line against the Hurricanes. He rushed 9 times for 56 yards and a touchdown despite the loss.

DE Ramon Puryear, DB Tamarion McDonald

Puryear had a breakout game against the Hurricanes. He had 8 tackles in the game which was a career high. Watch for him to continue that against the Eagles. McDonald also had a nice game as he tallied 9 stops which was the highest on the team for the game. He has had a nice season as well with 2 sacks.

Trends to Watch

Head Coach Jeff Brohm looks to improve his Cardinals record to 15-7 all-time. The Eagles look to improve to 10-9 all-time in regular season Friday games.
