FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 3, 2025

Los Angeles, CA – College Football Dawgs is thrilled to announce another significant milestone: official representation at the College Football Playoff Semifinal during the Cotton Bowl Classic. This year’s game features a marquee matchup between Ohio State Football and Texas Football at the iconic AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Matt Girard, College Football Dawgs’ Executive Vice President and a former Texas Football beat writer, will represent the brand and provide exclusive coverage of the game.

“This achievement speaks volumes about our team’s dedication,” said Hunter Dworsky, Founder and CEO.

“Fifteen months ago, we launched with a bold vision, and today we’re proud to have official representation on one of college football’s biggest stages. This milestone wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of our staff and our partnerships, who have helped us generate millions of views and solidified our place as a competitive force in the industry.”

“We’ve proven that as a national independent outlet, not controlled by corporate entities, we can not only compete with but offer more access, insights, and authentic coverage than many larger, more established competitors. And we did it in less than two years—something that takes others nearly a decade to achieve. We’re just getting started.”

In addition to securing representation at the College Football Playoff Semifinal, College Football Dawgs has formed strategic partnerships with the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) and the Maxwell Football Club, further expanding its reach and influence in the college football landscape. The club also broke the Harbaugh to the Chargers story in January and is now on the beat at Ohio State Football, continuing to provide exclusive and timely reporting for its growing audience.

This announcement caps off a record-breaking year for College Football Dawgs. In just 19 months, the outlet has achieved remarkable success, being credentialed for nearly every major college football event, including:

Conference Media Days for the Big Ten, Big 12, and ACC

• The legendary Army vs. Navy Game

• The Big Ten Championship and ACC Championship Games

• The First Round of the College Football Playoff

• The prestigious Rose Bowl Game

These milestones reflect College Football Dawgs’ rapid rise as one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic voices in college football media.

Stay tuned for exclusive behind-the-scenes content, live updates, and expert analysis from AT&T Stadium as we bring Dawg Nation closer to the action than ever before.
