COLLEGE FOOTBALL DAWGS CELEBRATE A RECORD-BREAKING JULY

LOS ANGELES—July 31, 2024—College Football Dawgs, a premier national sports media outlet based in Los Angeles, proudly announces an outstanding July, highlighted by several key achievements that underscore its growing influence in the college football landscape. These are tremendous accomplishments for a brand that is only 13 months old.

In addition to these accomplishments, College Football Dawgs is excited to announce the hiring of nearly 120 new staff members this offseason, further strengthening its team of expert writers, analysts and content creators.

College Football Dawgs' new Executive Vice President of Editorial and former Newsweek Publishing Editor Matt Girard lauded the organization's editorial department for this successful month: "Without question, the editorial department of College Football Dawgs is the hardest working and most dedicated group in all of sports media. Because of their passion, football fans across the country have been able to stay up-to-date with their favorite teams with breaking news and the in-depth analysis they crave. With almost a half a million views and nearly 300 published articles in the month of July, the editorial department has truly set a new standard of excellence. It’s an incredible achievement."

The month was marked by the successful launch of strategic partnerships with both the Robert W. Maxwell Football Club (MFC) and the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), a surge in website engagement, and comprehensive coverage of FBS and FCS conference media days.

Additionally, College Football Dawgs played a crucial role in the planning and execution of the Maxwell Award Watch List announcement on July 29 and will play a major role in the announcement of the Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List in the coming weeks.

The strategic partnerships with the MFC, renowned for its prestigious awards at all levels over the last 89 years, and the FWAA, a respected organization in sports journalism, have positioned College Football Dawgs at the forefront of the college football media industry.

The Maxwell Football Club collaboration will enhance the visibility of the esteemed Maxwell and Bednarik Awards, while the FWAA partnership will integrate rigorous journalistic standards and provide expansive promotional opportunities.
