The 10th-ranked Alabama Football travels to College Station to take on the Texas A&M Aggies in a game that will determine the leader in the race for the SEC West crown.

Broadcast Information:

Kickoff Saturday, October 7th at 3:30 EST on CBS

Gary Danielson and Brad Nessler on the call

Listen on Texas A&M Sports Network and Crimson Tide Sports Network

What's At Stake?

Alabama and Texas A&M are the only two teams in the SEC West that remain undefeated in conference play, meaning the winner of this game will control their own destiny as far as the SEC West goes. Both of these teams are looking to show that they have righted the ship after double-digit losses to out-of-conference opponents just a few weeks ago and determine who is the top dawg in the SEC West.

Key Players - Texas A&M Football

QB Max Johnson

WR Ainias Smith

Key Players - Alabama Football

QB Jalen Milroe

DB Caleb Downs

Key Matchups

Max Johnson, Evan Stewart, and Ainias Smith going against Caleb Downs, Malachi Moore, and the rest of the Alabama secondary will be a matchup to keep your eye on. Will the Aggies be able to get the passing game going or will the Alabama secondary make them one dimensional? On the other side will JC Latham and the rest of Alabama's offensive line be able to pass protect and run block against Texas A&M's very talented front seven led by the likes of Shemar Turner and Edgerin Cooper?

Prediction:

Both of these teams have the "Jimmys and Joes" so this one will come down to coaching. Bobby Petrino has seemed to give this Texas A&M a spark on offense while Kevin Steele has Alabama's defense looking like what we were used to seeing from the Tide in years past. Tommy Rees's offense has struggled at times but seems to be finding a groove while DJ Durkin's defense is 5th in the nation in total defense (according to NCAA.com). It comes down to Jimbo Fisher vs. Nick Saban and Nick Saban wins. Bama 34-31 in a nail-biter.
