The Washington Huskies come into this game undefeated at 9-0 and fighting for a spot in the College Football Playoffs. Utah on the other hand is going on the road to play the spoiler and the shot to defend their Pac-12 Title. Both of these teams are coming off of a game where the offenses exploded 55 for Utah vs Arizona State and 52 for Washington against USC. This game has all the makings for another classic for the folding Pac-12.

How to watch?

  • Time- 3:30 PM EST/120:30 PM PST

  • Channel- Fox

  • Announcers- Jason Benetti and Brock Huard

Players to watch - Washington Huskies

Dillon Johnson Running Back Washington - Everyone in the country knows Michael Penix Jr. but last week this running back blasted onto the national scene. He had 256 yards rushing with 4 touchdowns against USC. The running game will be pivotal against a pretty good defense in Utah to open up the passing game. Utah is fifth in the country against the run so it will be a tough task, but he should be up to the challenge.

Edefuan Ulofoshio Linebacker Washington - Comes into this game with 59 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 interception. The Washington front seven will have to be up to the task of stopping the solid Utah rushing attack averaging 192.7 yards a game.

Players to watch - Utah Utes

Bryson Barnes Quarterback Utah - On the season he has thrown for 930 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. His best game though on the season came last week with four touchdowns and zero interceptions against Arizona State. With the potent Washington offense, he will have to have a repeat performance to keep Utah in this game to give them a shot at the upset.

Cole Bishop Safety Utah- The secondary of Utah will be tested by Michael Penix and the plethora of weapons on the outside. He has 46 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 1 forced fumble on the season. He will have to be there to keep the shots that Washington will take down the field to a minimum and possibly force some turnovers to help Utah come out on top.

Prediction:

This game will come down to the wire and they say defense wins championships. Utah has the better defense coming into this game and normally I would side with the better defense but not in this game. While I do believe that Utah will lead a good portion of this game Michael Penix will show his 'DAWG' mentality and will lead Washington to a last-minute score to secure this game.

Washington wins 42-38
