Kansas State is the 32-time National Crop Judging National Champions. Iowa State has 12 themselves. The fans also argue back and forth about the better crop corn or wheat. This matchup may have 'farm' in the rivalry game title, but it will be settled on turf in Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Eight of the last ten games in this series have been two scores or less. The series is about as close as even as it can be, 52-50-4 in Iowa State's favor. Kansas State will know coming into this game if they have a shot to make the Big 12 Championship game in back-to-back seasons. A Texas loss or losses by Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

Where to Watch:

Time: 8 PM Eastern

Channel: Fox

Broadcasters: Tim Brando and Spencer Tillman

Players to Watch:

DJ Giddens Running Back Kansas State- Last week on the road against Kansas DJ Giddens had 102 yards on the ground and a touchdown in the comeback win. DJ Giddens has 961 yards with 8 touchdowns on the ground as well as 286 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns. The weather forecast in Manhattan on Saturday is looking to be cold with the possibility of snow flying. The running game will play a big role in this style of game.

Austin Moore Linebacker from Kansas State Comes into this game with 58 tackles on the season. The linebacker corps have been beat up this season but one consistent on the second level has been Austin Moore. Iowa State comes into this game averaging 118 yards on the ground this season. Austin Moore and the front six will have to keep Iowa State around their average.

Rocco Becht Quarterback Iowa State- This kid expected coming into this season to be backing up Hunter Dekkers but a sports betting investigation before the season changed plans. This Freshman has played pretty well throwing for 2,444 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions. To keep Iowa State in this game Saturday he will need to secure the ball and not give the Kansas State offense more opportunities to score.

Caleb Bacon Linebacker Iowa State- Caleb has 45 tackles on the season with 3 sacks and 1 forced fumble. In the last game against Texas, the Iowa State defense gave up 123 yards on the ground. The Top Defense in giving up yards (335.8) and fourth in points (20.5) in the Big 12 will have their hands full against a very good Kansas State offense, especially at home. At this point in the season, these numbers are not a fluke.

Prediction - Farmageddon

Kansas State has not won a game by less than 13 points at home this season and has scored over 40 points in each home game. With the weather forecast and how close this series has been this is setting up to be a close game or Farmageddon. Kansas State will win this game late in a low-scoring affair 21-17 moving their season record to 9-3.
