Coach Pry and the Hokies hit the road this weekend. They will meet up with their toughest opponent on their schedule this year, The Florida State Seminoles. The last time the teams met on the gridiron was in 2018 in Tallahassee and the Hokies shocked the college football world with a 24-3 win over Florida State. Can the Hokies catch lightning in the bottle again, and beat Florida State we will see.

Broadcast Information:

T.V: ABC 3:30 Mark Jones and Louis Riddrick are on the call.

Radio: 105.3 The Bear The Flagship Station for Virginia Tech, 103.7 WFIR

Florida State Radio Network WTNT 94.9

Key Players - Virginia Tech:

QB Kyron Drones has the same performance as you did against Pitt

WR Da' Quan Felton has another solid game

RB Bhayshul Tuten finally had a breakout performance against Pitt

Key Players - Florida State:

QB Jordan Travis

RB Trey Benson

WR Johnny Wilson

Prediction Time:

The Matchup Predictor on ESPN.com is only giving the Hokies a 5.3% chance of beating Florida State. I'm glad games are played on the field instead of by computers. The Hokies played their best game, in the Brent Pry era against Pitt last week. Will that same fire and passion be enough to beat Florida State this week? I'm going to say no, however, this game will be competitive and, will give the Hokies experience for the rest of the season.

Florida State 38

Virginia Tech 24
