Emeka Egbuka to Return to Ohio State

The Buckeyes exciting off-season continues as star wide-out Emeka Egbuka has officially announced he will not declare for the NFL Draft and will return for his senior season! Despite being a potential first-round pick, Emeka Egbuka has chosen to return to Columbus to help lead the Buckeyes to beat the team up north, win a Big Ten title, and win a national title!

Emeka had entered this past season as the 1-2 punch with Marvin Harrison Jr after a favorable sophomore campaign where he caught for over 1,000 yards receiving and was favored to have back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. Unfortunately for Emeka, the star wide-out had an injury-prone season where he suffered setbacks from an in-season ankle surgery. Emeka finished this season with 41 passes caught, 515 yards, and four touchdowns in 2023.

Emeka will now be a projected starter in the receiver room entering the 2024 season. Although Marvin Harrison has yet to declare, it is all but certain he will declare for the draft. Emeka will now lead the room with returning starter Carnell Tate and fellow teammates Brandon Innis, Jayden Ballard, Kyion Grayes, and Kojo Antwi. Emeka will also team up with incoming 5-star freshmen Jeremiah Smith and Mylan Graham.
