Florida State will make the 526-mile trip to Winston Salem to take on the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest. ESPN gives Wake Forest a 7.8% chance to upset this hot Seminole team. Florida State is coming off an 18-point win over Duke, where they put up 38 points and an impressive 420 yards on offense. Wake Forest is also coming off a big ACC win against Pitt, where they put up 21 points, with 14 of those coming in the first to slide by Pitt 21-17.

This 'Seminoles vs Demon Deacons' is not a must-see game for the college football community. Florida State has not given any doubt to fans these last three weeks, and they do not look to add any doubt now. Wake Forest has struggled against any team with a mediocre or better offense all season. Their defense allowed 30 points against Virginia Tech and 30 against Georgia Tech. Florida State allowed just 17 points from that same Virginia Tech offense. Look for Florida State to cut through this Wake Forest defense like a hot knife through butter. Wake Forest lacks depth and play-making ability on both sides of the ball, making it much easier for Florida State to expose every look this team might bring.

Based on the spread, the implied score for this ACC matchup is 36-15, with Florida State walking away with the win. I predict Florida State will drop at least 42 points and move on to their game next week without skipping a beat.
