Following the first 10-sack season of his career with the New York Jets, defensive end Bryce Huff capitalized on a contract year and will sign a three-year, $51.1 million dollar contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Huff, who was signed by the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2020, is now set to sign the richest contract ever for a non-quarterback who was not selected in the NFL Draft.

Philadelphia is now set to land one of the more efficient pass-rushers from the 2023 season in Huff who will look to improve on a defensive unit that struggled last year.

The Eagles defense allowed the seventh-most yards per game this season with 356.1 and just lost star defensive tackle Fletcher Cox to retirement last week.

Huff spent all four years of his career with the Jets and recorded a combined 17.5 sacks, breaking out with 10 in 2023.

The Jets now lose a key part of their elite defense which allowed the third-fewest yards per game in the NFL.

New York could look to former 2023 first-round pick Will McDonald, who played limited snaps in 15 games this season, to take an increased role next season.
