WHAT'S AT STAKE?
The Badgers underperformed last season with a 7-6 season they did end off with a bowl win. They lost a lot of very winnable games, At the moment, they are sitting at 1-1 with a loss to the #25 Washington State Cougars last weekend by nine. In all fairness, Washington State is a tough team, so they're on the prowl for a good bounce-back game. Georgia Southern is currently 2nd in the Sun Belt East at 2-0 with two high-powered offensive victories over The Citadel and a rather decent UAB bunch.

KEY MATCHUPS
Both teams look rather good defensively, only allowing 344 for the Eagles and 324 for the Badgers respectively. Those are strong numbers for playing two games. The Badgers QB, Mordecai has passed for 466 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. On the ground, they run a tandem between Mellusi and Allen accumulating 368 yards and scoring a combined 5 touchdowns. For the Eagles, quarterback Davis Brin has passed for 562 yards, 4 touchdowns, and has two interceptions. Wide receiver Derwin Burgess Jr. has received 14 times for 151 yards and has two touchdowns averaging 10.8 yards per reception.
PREDICTION
Saturdays over and under is 64.5 points with the Badgers as the favorites at Camp Randall. I'm going with the under and saying there will be an accumulative of only 46.5 points, nothing points to the Badgers having an explosive enough offense, and Georgia Southern has been playing pretty good defense as of late. The Eagles have an impressive team and I feel like it's going to be a whole lot closer than what is predicted. Camp Randall is a difficult spot to play in for anyone. 80 thousand screaming fans, the pressure to not make mistakes, the strength of the Badgers D-line. I'm giving the edge to Wisconsin with a score of 34-13.
