The Washington Huskies have added a dynamic playmaker to their 2025 recruiting class. Consensus four-star athlete Dylan Robinson announced his commitment to play for the Huskies on July 18.

On3 Sports rates Robinson the No. 162 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle and the No. 12 prospect from California. He chose the Huskies after receiving offers from Notre Dame, UCLA, Utah and many other top collegiate programs.

Robinson's Bio, Stats

Robinson is a 6-foot-3 two-way player at the high school level. He has been recruited as a safety, cornerback and wide receiver. At Bonita High School in La Verne, Calif., Robinson is teammates with fellow coveted four-star recruit Noah Mikhail who is rated by Rivals the No. 4 linebacker in the 2025 cycle.

During his junior season, Robinson caught 22 passes for 514 yards and 6 touchdowns. On defense, he made 69 tackles and 4 interceptions. In a scouting report prepared by 247Sports, Robinson's exemplary body control and speed are noted. Before his commitment to play in Seattle, his status on the recruiting radar was rapidly rising. The 247Sports scouting report elaborates: "For his size, he has very good cover skills and ball awareness and will get downhill in a hurry to make a tackle. He has excellent ball skills and ... is easily among the top prospects in the state."

At the Southern California Under Armour Next Camp, Robinson earned defensive back MVP honors.

Huskies 2025 Recruiting Class

Washington is coming off an unforgettable season. The Huskies were runners-up in the national championship quest. However, UW experienced significant turnover in the aftermath of its 2023 campaign. Coach Kalen DeBoer bolted from Seattle to take over for Nick Saban at Alabama. Furthermore, 10 stars from last year's elite squad were selected in the 2024 NFL Draft. Additionally, a staggering 30 Huskies players entered the transfer portal, four of whom followed DeBoer to Tuscaloosa, Ala.

However, with commitments from elite athletes like Robinson, the Huskies and new coach Jedd Fisch are rebuilding. Robinson is the seventh four-star commit for Washington in the 2025 cycle.
