Lock 'Em In: NFL Best Bets for Week 8

Welcome to College Football Dawgs' Best Bets, where each week I will give you our best bets for college football and the NFL.

Unfortunately, our winning streak came to an end last week as we went 1-2 (-1.31 units).

This week there won’t be any full write-ups with the plays. Some of these lines are moving quickly on me and I wanted to get them out as soon as I could, restricting my time for full write-ups. I feel getting the plays out while lines are still available is more important than a write-up itself.

I am looking to add some more bets later in the week, so be sure to check back for that.

A few quick things before we get into the plays for this week. All bets will be to win 1 unit unless otherwise noted. Always practice bankroll management and be sure to shop around for the best lines and prices (betting apps for Android or iPhone).

There is no such thing as a lock so be on the lookout for any “Lock of the Century” bettors.

Play 'em or fade 'em. Let's go

NFL Best Bets: 9-5 (+3.79 units)

Best Bet No. 1: Cleveland Browns +9 (-120)

The Cleveland Browns will host divisional rival the Baltimore Ravens at 1 p.m. EST on Oct 27.

Best Bet No. 2: Cincinnati Bengals -2 (-120)

The Philadelphia Eagles will travel to take on the Cincinnati Bengals at 1 p.m. EST on Oct 27.

Best Bet No. 3: Indianapolis Colts +5.5 (-114)

The Indianapolis Colts hit the road and take on divisional foe the Houston Texans at 1 p.m. EST on Oct 27.

That’s all for now. Don’t forget to come back later this weekend for any added plays. Good Luck to everyone this weekend.

Be sure to come back to College Football Dawgs each week for more "Lock 'Em In" and every Saturday for my top NFL Daily Fantasy Football plays.
