Texas Longhorns offensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr. finds himself among college football's names gathered together for the Outland Trophy Watch List.

Banks, a third-year player from Humble, Texas, stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 320 pounds. He played a vital role last season for the Longhorns, protecting quarterback Quinn Ewers and making space for running back Johnathan Brooks.

After the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) announced the watch list, Banks shared the announcement on X. Former teammate defensive tackle D'Vondre Sweat won the Outland Trophy last season.

While Texas has a lone representative, it's part of 18 Southeastern Conference players recognized. The Georgia Bulldogs top SEC players with four on the Outland Trophy Watch List. They include defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse, offensive tackle Xavier Truss, and guards Dylan Fairchild and Tate Ratledge. The Alabama Crimson Tide are led by transfer center Parker Brailsford, defensive tackle Tim Smith and guard Tyler Booker.

SEC Tops Outland Trophy Players

What about other SEC players? Well, keep notes during the season on Tennessee center Cooper Mays, LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell and Kentucky defensive tackle Deone Walker.

These three players picked up Outland Trophy votes last season. Mays didn't allow a sack last season, only allowing one quarterback hit while snapping the ball 531 times. He enters his fourth season at center. Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller is also among those gaining recognition.

Keep your eyes on USC defensive tackle Bear Alexander this season. Alexander and offensive line standouts Jonah Monheim and Emmanuel Pregnon are together on the list. As for Ohio State, defensive lineman Tyleik Williams and offensive linemen Donovan Jackson and Josh Fryar also earned recognition.

Let's not forget the defending national champion Michigan Wolverines. Defensive tackles Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant made the list. Defensive tackles Howard Cross III and Rylie Mills represent Notre Dame.

Taking a look at the Atlantic Coast Conference, nine players represent the league. They include Boston College offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo, Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller and Florida State defensive tackle Joshua Farmer and offensive tackle Darius Washington.

Others include Georgia Tech center Weston Franklin, Louisville offensive guard Michael Gonzalez, Miami offensive tackle Jalen Rivers, North Carolina State center Zeke Correll and SMU center Justin Osborne.

75 Players on Watch List

A total of 75 players find their names on the Outland Trophy Watch List. Additional conference breakdowns include 13 Big Ten Conference players, nine from the ACC and Big 12 Conference, seven Mountain West Conference players and five from the American Athletic Conference. Also, four from Conference USA, three each from the Mid-American Conference and Sun Belt Conference and two from the Pac-2 Conference and Independents.

Outland Trophy semifinalists will be announced by the FWAA on Nov. 20. Then, three finalists will be announced on Nov. 6. The winner will be announced on ESPN on Dec. 12. It will be part of The Home Depot College Football Awards show.
