Nevada announced a major hire on Monday as the Wolf Pack takes on Matt Lubick as their next offensive coordinator.
Lubick spent the prior two seasons as a senior analyst with the Kansas Jayhawks and had previously worked as an offensive coordinator at Nebraska, Washington, and Oregon.
In October, Lubick had been diagnosed with leukemia and underwent treatment at the Anschutz Center in Colorado.
Lubick was the offensive coordinator at Washington when it won the Pac-12 Championship in 2018 and was a passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach at Oregon when it made the 2014 National Championship Game.
While at Duke, Lubick was named Football Scoop’s National Receivers Coach of the Year in 2012.
Lubick now joins a Nevada program that won just two games in 2023 and ranked at the bottom of the Mountain West in scoring offense.
