Who is Deion Burks?

Deion Burks is a wide receiver who committed to Purdue out of high school in 2021. He is from Belleville Michigan. At a height of 5'11 weighing 195 pounds he is listed as the number three wide receiver in the transfer portal with two more years of eligibility left. According to some reports he had drawn offers from other schools like Oregon, Texas, USC, and Washington along with many others.

How was his time at Purdue?

The first two seasons in West Lafayette Indiana did not have much production but in the third season, he showed potential. With 47 catches, 629 receiving yards, and 7 touchdowns, he earned second-team All-Big 10 honors.

What is the impact on Oklahoma?

Oklahoma always seems to pump out quality wide receiver talent. At this time Oklahoma will return most of the key contributors from this season in the wide receiver room except for Drake Stoops. Deion Burks can take the top off of the defense, as can the other Sooner wideouts. After averaging almost 13 yards a catch at Purdue he will be a great added weapon to quarterback Jackson Arnold.
