Ending a week of speculation, Penn State wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith entered the transfer portal on Monday.
Lambert-Smith had been away from the team for the past few days with it first being noticed during the open media availability portion of Penn State's practice this week.
Despite being listed on the blue and whites' roster for Saturday's spring game, Lambert-Smith was not present during the game.
Lambert-Smith was Penn State's top receiving option in 2023 and led the team with 53 catches for 673 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Penn State had revamped its receiving room during the offseason with former Ohio State pass-catcher Julian Fleming serving as the price addition.
Lambert-Smith now becomes the third Penn State receiver to enter the transfer portal joining Christian Driver and Dante Cephas.
