Who is Taylor Mouser?

Originally from Chandler, Arizona, Taylor Mouser graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Adams State. Shortly after graduating, he was a graduate assistant for head coach Matt Campbell at the University of Toledo starting in 2015.

What has Taylor Mouser done for ISU?

Mouser made the move to Iowa State with Campbell in 2016, and in 2017 he was promoted to assistant director of scouting. In 2021 Mouser moved up to Tight Ends coach, where he developed names such as Charlie Kolar, Chase Allen, and just last season, Benjamin Brahmer.

Where does that leave the Offensive staff?

With this move and the recent hiring of Tyler Roehl to coach the running backs, Cyclones fans can look forward to;

-Ryan Clanton as the run game coordinator/offensive line coach

-Noah Pauley as the passing game coordinator/wide receiver coach

-Jake Waters as the quarterback coach

There is a lot of potential for Iowa State to shake things up in the Big XII standings this year. With these coaching moves the Cyclones could turn the ship around, maybe not to the conference championship, but Matt Campbell and crew are certainly headed in the right direction.
